Don’t drink caffeine until 90 minutes or so when you wake up in the morning.

Caffeine is an adenosine antagonist. Caffeine blocks the adenosine receptors, but then when the caffeine wears off, the adenosine that’s still around, binds that receptor, and you crash.

So one thing you can do is to wait 90 minutes or so when you wake up in the morning so that the adenosine and the adenosine-receptors interactions can all take place and dissipate, then you drink caffeine.
